  • Coverage of Curricular Components:
    • Completed 6 lesson Plans
    • The Making Of a Scientist and Climate change is not hysteria – it’s a fact
  • Participation/ Leadership in Co-Scholastic Activities:
    • Taught them English prayer song.
    • Initiated ‘Navaprabha’ and ‘Sraddha’ remedial classes for weak students in English.
    • Taught them dance and Carol song for Christmas celebrations.
    • Showed positive exuberance and vigour in all other school activities.
    • Showed sincere presence in all other scholastic activities.
  • Progress of other practicals during the week:
    • Submitted first and second chapter of Project work.
    • Worked on innovative model for grammar.
    • Completed writing required amount of lesson templates.
    • Completed self reflection, peer evaluation and other relevant record of teaching practice.
    • Did a thorough planning of the upcoming lessons.
  • Special Responsibilities undertaken:
    • Took Spoken English classes on free periods.
    • Taught them basic grammar skills.
    • Took ICT related classes for 9th standard students
  • Difficulties Faces/ How you managed the situation?:
    • Fortunately this week, I was quite on my comfort zone and rarely met with any difficulties. So, I would prefer to say that problem faced was NIL.
  • Areas that require further improvement :
    • NIL
  • Self Reflection and Rating:
    • Overall, this week was satisfying, beautiful and relaxed for me. I could use all the techniques and strategies we had imbibed during the course.
    • I could see a marked difference in the performance of students in the form of classroom response and their notebook writing. They tried to speak only in English during the class time and at least stopped hating the language.
    • I could also see a streamlined transition in myself as a teacher. The past few days made me more confident and assertive.
    • Rating: 9.3/10.

    • Completed 5 lesson Plans. The Making Of a Scientist by Richard Feynman(6 Paragraph)
  • Participation/ Leadership in Co-Scholastic Activities:
    • Prepared students for youth festival ,various Competitions.
    • Taught them music at free time.
    • Helped teachers in computer related works.
    • Sincere presence and involvement in all other activities in the school.
    • Provided required support in School blood donation camp though I couldn’t donate it.
  • Progress of other practicals during the week:
    • Made an attempt to complete 1st and 2nd chapter of Project.
    • Started working on innovative model.
  • Special Responsibilities undertaken:
    • Continued taking remedial classes during lunch break and free time for 8 and 9 class students.
    • Took communicative English classes during substitution period.
  • Difficulties Faces/ How you managed the situation?:
    • Faced a little problem with Chronemics. Planned the lesson plan accordingly to manage it.
  • Areas that require further improvement :
    • Time Management.
  • Self Reflection and Rating:
    • All over it was a wonderful week, whereby I could introspect, find out and overcome my own flaws.
    • I became much more confident and assertive as a teacher and could do much more than just covering the portions.
    • I am satisfied by what I did and i think I have the potential to do much better.
    • Got positive feedback from all the observers.
    • Could finish the portion in time and gave sufficient notes and correction of the same.
    • Rating: 9/10.

    • “The Making of a Scientist” (Prose) by Richard Feynman – 5 paragraphs
  • Participation/ Leadership in Co-Scholastic Activities:
    • Prepared the students for morning assembly. (skit, prayer song)
    • Taught them music on free time.
    • Took Hindi classes
    • Volunteered in taking the students for taking Vaccinations.
  • Progress of other practicals during the week:
    • Completed MCQs of third semester.
    • Completed synopsis and literature overview of project work.
    • Completed Self-reflection and other relevant observation records.
  • Special Responsibilities undertaken:
    • Conducted Remedial classes for 9th standard students as part of Navaprabha Program.
    • Conducted Remedial classes for weak students of 8th standard on lunch break time using Phonics method (ICT).
  • Difficulties Faces/ How you managed the situation?:
    • This week was very hectic for me. Got many substitution hours and extra duties. But I managed this situation by proper planning and time management. I started loving the things I was involved in.
  • Areas that require further improvement :
    • May be I should try to be little more assertive.
  • Self Reflection and Rating:
    • Followed lesson plan and used teaching aids effectively.
    • Took ICT oriented classes.
    • Could finish the portion at accurate time.
    • Finished all relevant observation records.
    • Did all other extra duties with atmost sincerity and dedication.
    • Rating : 8.5/10
